Public Speaking Coaching

Your voice is a powerful tool.

My unique training pulls from my fifteen years of experience in theatre and teaches the craft of story telling with skill building around breath control, vocal quality, and physical presence.

Training sessions are designed to be a joyful experience where you will have the opportunity to play, explore, and expand into your voice and body in ways that feel true to you.

Offerings are available in three formats, can be booked as one-off or recurring sessions, and can be tailored to your specific goals.

ONE-ON-ONE COACHING

Perfect for public and social appearances alike, one-on-one sessions incorporate tailored curriculum to fit your needs. Available as one time or recurring sessions.

TEAM COACHING

Coaching for teams of 2-5 people allows you to learn through practice, observation, and communication. With group and individual exercises your team will have the tools to continue your practice long after our sessions are complete.

GROUP WORKSHOPS

Learn the building blocks of public speaking with groups of 6-20 people. Fit for organizations or communities of practice, group workshops focus on creating an environment for authentic expression, telling collective and individual stories, and providing vocabulary for peer feedback. Available as one time or recurring sessions.

“Julia taught me to make my presentation more compelling and artful. The training led to an amazing speech that eclipsed the other presentations that relied mostly on slides and content. The evaluations afterward showed that this talk was very highly rated. I have Julia to thank for that.”

— Jonathan, Institute for Alternative Futures

“Julia was integral in helping me refine my presentation skills. Her hands-on classes, tailored homework, and thoughtful feedback allowed me to reflect on how I verbally project myself. I was able to adjust my speech and body language to narrate stories and ideas with clarity and confidence.”

— Vanessa, 3x3 Urban Planning

“Julia listened to what my major concerns were about sounding confident and structured our session around what I wanted. We practiced speaking in an unapologetic manner, which helped me fully take command of the room on presentation day.”

— Maggie, Truman National Security Project
